3-Day Mount Toubkal Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Imlil & Trek to Toubkal Refuge
● Arrive in Imlil (1.5 hours from Marrakesh).
● Briefing with guide and preparation for the trek.
● Trek from Imlil (1,740m) to Toubkal Refuge (3,207m) – approx. 5-6 hours.
● Pass through Berber villages and stunning mountain landscapes.
● Arrive at Toubkal Refuge, enjoy a warm meal, and rest.

Day 2: Summit Mount Toubkal & Return to Refuge
● Early morning (4:00 AM) summit attempt of Mount Toubkal (4,167m).
● Trek to the summit (4-5 hours) with breathtaking views.
● Descend back to Toubkal Refuge (3-4 hours).
● Rest and enjoy a hearty meal at the refuge.

Day 3: Descent to Imlil & Departure
● After breakfast, trek back to Imlil (5-6 hours).
● Enjoy the scenery and pass through Berber villages.
● Arrive in Imlil and return to Marrakesh (1.5-hour drive).

● Fitness: Moderate to high fitness required due to steep climbs and altitude.
● Equipment: Trekking boots, warm clothing, waterproofs, headlamp, and sun
protection needed.
● Guide: A local guide is highly recommended for safety and navigation.

Day 2: Aroumd Village – Ait Souka & Tamatert Villages – Tizi N’Tamatert Pass (2,280m) – Tachidert Village – Ouanskra Village – Imnane Valley – Imsker –Asni – Marrakech

● Trek through Ait Souka and Tamatert villages.
● Cross Tizi N’Tamatert Pass (2,280m) with breathtaking views.
● Continue to Tachidert and Ouanskra villages.
● Stop for lunch in a traditional Berber house.
● Explore Imnane Valley and pass through Imsker village.
● Return to Marrakech via Asni in the late afternoon.
